GETTING GROWN COLLECTIVE, NFP

Project details

This project involves the design and execution of establishing a nonprofit entity and two community gardens. The site is located in an urban city and the goal of the project is to create urban green spaces that provide organic vegetables, fruit and herbs as well as nourishment to pollinators. Additionally, the project has played an ongoing role within Chicago's mutual-aid projects through continuos free meal distributions that utilize local produce.

My contributions have been instrumental in shaping the overall vision and design of the project. As Executive Director of the organization, I've ensured every aspect of incorporation, administration and implementation of both the land stewardship and programming.
